Something Different

In other recent news...
I was offered a bit of informal translation work the other day, by a friend and colleague at work. She does french to english translating for a south american company quite regularly, and while the pay is crap, they don't expect professional translators. So it sounds like an excellent way to get some experience, which I've been wanting for a while now.
It's not much, but it's a start, and I'm keen to see how I like it, not to mention how easy I find it. And, as my school is on holidays for the next two weeks, leaving me with nothing but uni (and the rest of life) to do, I look forward to something to fell those long empty days... *coff* *coff*
